Steve Deutsch
Chief Executive Officer

Steve has been a key member of the Wesleyan Group’s executive team since 2005, undertaking a number of roles across the group including operations director, commercial director and COO of sales. Since late 2012 he has been responsible for driving the growth of Wesleyan Bank, including the acquisition of Syscap in 2015. With near 30 years of experience in financial services across a range of roles, Steve leads a strong team who are seeking to significantly develop and grow an already successful specialist business.

Philip White
Managing Director

Philip has been a key driver in Syscap’s growth, helping the company’s turnover increase from £3m to over £150m. With a strong background in sales and technology, Philip became sales director in 1999, and has taken a decisive role in shaping the company’s future direction and success. He was appointed CEO in July 2006 following a funded management buyout. In 2015, when Syscap was acquired by the Wesleyan Group, Philip took the helm as managing director to continue his success within Syscap. Read more about his journey.

Laoiseach Lynch
Finance Director

Laoiseach is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and systems for both Wesleyan and Syscap. He joined from Barclays, where he had spent 12 years in a number of senior roles, including finance director of Business Banking, Mortgages & Savings, director of Mortgage Products, and latterly as director of Barclays Non-core Business, managing its asset reduction strategy for European retail banking loans.

Sean Read
Director of Operations

Sean re-joined Syscap in April 2014 having worked in the business for nine years between 1999 and 2008. He has previously served as a Head of Department, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Sales & Marketing. Sean has enjoyed a successful career in financial services over the past 30+ years, including a stint in Australia for a leading mid-market IT services provider. At the start of 2016 Sean became a Fellow at The Leasing Foundation before he transferred into a new Directorship in December the same year to replace Mark Henry as Director of Operations.
