m-hance is a UK-based company providing innovative and functionally rich business software solutions to over 2000 organisations. Working in a wide range of sectors, from construction and education to not-for-profit organisations, m-hance’s customers include companies such as Innocent drinks, Millennium Hotels, Make-A-Wish and Endsleigh Insurance.
Amongst this extensive range of hosted and managed services, a finance offering is key. It allows customers to fund software licenses, hardware upgrades, maintenance costs and other IT needs.
Not content with just one finance partner, m-hance added Syscap to its portfolio to offer a broader range of options to its clients. In particular, it gives more options to cover IT business loans of varying sizes.
A Bespoke Solution
Syscap had a pre-existing relationship with m-hance’s sister company, Sys-Care. Nevertheless Syscap had to compete for the finance partnership fair and square through a tender process.
“Syscap provided us with strong sales support throughout the tender process and was proactive in offering us ongoing information / training sessions,” says Mark Grisdale, Sales Manager at m-hance. “Syscap was also willing to allow us to brand our finance scheme as m-hance Finance. This was very important to us as we have invested significantly in developing our own IP solutions and wanted to emphasise this to our customers while maintaining our brand identity.”
The additional IT business loans capacity was key to m-hance’s ambitions and helping up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
“Offering finance to our customers provides them the option to spread significant investment costs over time,” says Mark. “This provides them with instant return on investment as well as tax advantages through the ability to offset their IT expenditure as an operating expense rather than an asset, which will further benefit their bottom line.”
