Role: Marketing Campaign Manager

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to take ownership of the indirect marketing strategy, writing, owning and executing the marketing plan required to deliver enough leads and opportunities to cover our contribution to the indirect sales teams gross profit which comprises:

  • IT vendors (both strategic and non-strategic)
  • Medical and Dental vendors
  • Brokers

You will receive support from colleagues around social, digital, design and some administrative work. Your target will be split helping existing accounts achieve their potential, cross selling products within the existing customer base and recruiting new accounts.

Main responsibilities and key activities:

  • Devising the marketing strategy for our indirect channels and translating it into an annual, budgeted, timed plan with clear actions and outcomes
  • Communicating the plan, internally and where appropriate externally and tracking and measuring progress including regular presentations at sales meetings and to our strategic partners, at business briefings and other events.
  • Executing all elements of the plan to time and within budget which includes but is not limited to integrated campaigns including direct and email campaigns, events, writing of case studies and blogs, social content plans, collateral and presentations
  • Devising marketing plans and developing marketing relationships with our strategic partners and broker and reviewing progress via quarterly meetings
  • Driving and project management of the vendor and broker digital experience, working with sales and IT to develop an ongoing roadmap of required developments
  • Running both NPS and customer insights for these groups, where necessary drawing on Group resources to help you
  • Market and competitor analysis
  • Refining and growing the partner programme proposition
  • Responsible for new product development and review to support the team, in accordance with the Bank’s Product Management framework
  • Management of data and third parties as required to fulfil duties
  • Take on tasks as required by the Head of Marketing, Wesleyan Bank and Syscap to support the growth of the Bank
  • Adhere to and behave in accordance with the ethos of the Society at all times

To deliver:

  • An agreed amount of GP from the indirect channel
  • Any additional project activities as requested by the Head of Marketing

Key to this role are:

  • Track record of developing and delivering a successful marketing strategy
  • Experience within the IT/ Leasing and or medical markets
  • Ability to see a bigger picture view of how our solutions, partners and operations fit together
  • High degrees of personal commitment, focus, application and endeavour
  • High degrees of personal planning & organising
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Strong communication skills especially in writing and in presenting / meetings
  • Ability to sort through input from others and overlay with a customer view so as to provide best customer experience
